Job Description

JOB TITLE: Financial Software Analyst

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

DEPARTMENT:  Public Sector Operations

REPORTS TO:  Director of Support

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes

JOB LOCATION:  Richmond, KY

TRAVEL:  25%

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst/Customer Support representative. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the data-driven insights that shape our financial reports and the satisfaction of our customers. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing reports, troubleshooting discrepancies, and delivering exceptional customer support. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities (Financial Analysis)

  • Analyze transactional and financial data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with state department to understand their data needs and provide analytical support
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial billing statements.
  • Contribute to the development of data-driven solutions and products

Responsibilities (Customer Support)

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for our software products, especially those related to financial data and reporting.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Gather customer feedback and identify areas for improvement in our products and services, particularly regarding, reports, data accessibility and usability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial data analysis is highly desirable.
  • Experience in customer support is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in SQL, SSRS and Excel is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Preferred degree in Finance or a related field
