Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating metal components, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine required materials and equipment.
Interpret plans and blueprints accurately to guide fitting and assembly operations.
Measure materials and components using rulers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
Perform drilling, machining, and milling operations on metal components.
Configure, operate, and fine-tune metalworking machinery to ensure accurate results.
Manually create and fabricate fitting components as needed.
Fit and assemble metal parts, tools, and machinery components.
Follow all health, safety, and regulatory requirements on the job site.
Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Fitter, Metal Fabricator, or similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of measuring tools and metalworking machinery.
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a workshop or industrial environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
