Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Fleet Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations in our fleet maintenance shop. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone interested in starting a career in fleet or transportation maintenance. No prior diesel technician experience or certifications required; training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist fleet technicians with routine maintenance and repair tasks on company vehicles and equipment
- Perform basic preventative maintenance such as checking fluids, tire pressure, oil changes, lights, and filters
- Help with vehicle inspections and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Assist with washing trucks/trailers as needed
- Retrieve tools, parts, and supplies for technicians
- Follow all safety procedures and fleet maintenance standards
- Perform general shop duties as assigned
