Job Description

Pay Rate: 45,000 - 55,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the Food and Beverage Manager in achieving departmental goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily food and beverage operations across all outlets (restaurant, bar, banquets, room service, etc.)

  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service in line with company standards.

  • Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Assist in scheduling, labor management, and ensuring adequate staffing for all shifts.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

  • Assist with inventory control, stock ordering, and waste management.

  • Monitor product quality, presentation, and consistency.

  • Support the implementation of promotional activities and special events.

  • Report maintenance and operational issues to relevant departments.

  • Assist in onboarding and performance evaluations of food and beverage staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage or hospitality industry.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene, and liquor regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude.

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Certification in Food Safety and/or Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), if required by local laws.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.

  • Experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

  • Multilingual abilities are an asset.
