As Food Service Supervisor, you'll help bring that promise to life by coordinating, directing and producing quality menu items; consulting with team to coordinate operations; training, assigning and evaluating student and Merit staff; and maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Primary Function:

Under general supervision, directs, supervises, and coordinates the production, distribution, and service of quality menu items; plans and prepares work schedules and daily production assignments; consults with food service supervisors and managers to coordinate operations; orients, trains, assigns work and evaluates work of student and Merit staff; maintains sanitation and safety standards; determines set-up of service areas; maintains inventory controls; recommends menu changes; responds to inquiries and concerns from staff and customers; and performs other related duties.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

High school graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience; or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution.
