Food Services Hostess, Full-Time

Position Highlights:

• Position: Host-Hostess/Cashier
• Location: Main Hospital – Food Services
• Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet patients, staff, and visitors warmly and assist them with their dining needs.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.

Food Preparation and Service:

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Serve meals to patients at their bedside, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.
• Set up and maintain the dining area, including replenishing food stations and ensuring proper presentation.

Cash Handling:

• Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions

Requirements:

• One (1) year of customer service experience in a food services or retail environment preferred.
• Current ServSafe certification or Food handler’s Card (or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)

Compensation:

• $16.00 – $18.40 per hour, depending on education and experience.
• Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.

• Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
