Position Summary

The Foundation Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the Foundation's efforts to maximize fundraising potential through administrative support, event planning, relationship management and general Foundation operations. The role is responsible for ensuring donor intentions are honored, gifts are processed and acknowledged in a timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point person for database support. Maintain contact with Gift Officers to ensure database policy compliance.
  • Track and record all gifts and event financial progress. Create and submit reports for management teams about progress and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Work with the Foundation and Finance departments regarding allocation and receipt of gifts, grants, and employee payroll deductions.
  • Maintain Foundation database, entering and processing all gifts and managing acknowledgement process.
  • Maintain foundation constituency and donor information in database through weekly census updates.
  • Assist Development team in creating, producing, and sending mailings, social media and email marketing campaigns.
  • Support Director of Operations and Advancement in monitoring Employee Education program distributions.
  • Provide excellent customer service experience for sponsors, partners and community members ensuring high retention and growth rates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business, marketing, communications or related.
  • 3+ years' experience working in non-profit development or operations with increasing responsibility.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database proficiency is a requirement of the role
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of levels and personality types.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good influencing tactics.
  • Computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, engagement marketing tools and social media platforms.

Travel expected 20%+

Must be able to work occasional weeknight and weekend events
