Founding Engineer (Full-Stack)

CORVIDA is reimagining how affluent families manage their finances. We're building the modern alternative to a family office by delivering sophisticated financial management to HNW families through a combination of white-glove service and AI-driven efficiency.

Backed by Fieldcrest Ventures, we are preparing to launch with 100 founding families in January 2026. This is your chance to join our founding team and help define an entirely new category of financial service.

As a Full-Stack Engineer at CORVIDA, you'll build AI agents that handle complex tax and accounting workflows for high net worth families ($10M-$50M+ each). This isn't a typical engineering role – it's an opportunity to create intelligent automation for sophisticated tax planning, multi-state compliance, and entity management with real stakes where your code affects millions in assets. You'll architect our entire technical foundation from scratch, building multi-step agentic workflows, document processing pipelines, and LLM evaluation systems for high-accuracy financial operations. You'll work directly with CPAs and Customer Success teams to understand complex workflows and translate them into automated systems that deliver expert-level accuracy.

You'll make fundamental architectural decisions with zero legacy code constraints, establishing production infrastructure that processes financial documents, calculates tax obligations across jurisdictions, and coordinates administrative tasks autonomously. Your work will transform how families experience financial services, delivering in hours what traditionally takes weeks.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend-focused experience at startups with strong Python/Go skills
• Production experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications solving real business problems
• Experience with agent orchestration tools and multi-step AI workflows
• Track record of high-output shipping – built what normally takes teams, solved complex problems independently
• Strong database design, API development, and document processing capabilities

You're comfortable with ambiguity and moving at startup speed while maintaining production quality. You challenge assumptions constructively and care more about shipping meaningful products than perfect abstractions.

Experience in fintech, regulated domains, or financial services is valuable but not required – we care more about your ability to learn quickly and build robust systems.
