Salary range: $150k - $180k
Experience: 1+ YoE
We’re building AI agents for consumer lending, starting with the mortgage industry. 🏡 Our technology helps some of America’s largest mortgage lenders scale their contact center and compliance operations using AI-driven voice agents.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Architect and develop scalable backend services for AI-powered lending workflows
- Design & implement APIs for integration with loan platforms, payment systems, and compliance tools
- Optimize for real-time AI interactions with sub-700ms latency
- Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes for high availability
- Develop event-driven architectures using Python AsyncIO for real-time automation
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle—from design to deployment and monitoring
✅ Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of backend experience in fast-paced engineering environments
- Proficiency in Python, especially AsyncIO, FastAPI, or Django
- Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational/NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for performance optimization

- Experience building AI/LLM-powered systems
- Previous startup experience with a hands-on, “get-it-done” mindset
