The Role
The full-timeFreelance Senior Graphic Designer will play a vital role in translating Petite Plume's creative direction into refined, cohesive assets across all digital channels. Reporting to the Art Director and working closely with the Senior Creative Director of Brand, this designer will support the execution of integrated campaigns—bringing visual ideas to life through design, research, and creative development.
This role blends hands-on digital design with collaborative creative production support. Ideal candidates combine an impeccable eye for detail with strong technical execution and a passion for brand storytelling. This is a full-time freelance position with potential for long-term or permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Design & Creative Execution
- Design and produce digital assets across all brand platforms, including website, email, paid media, and organic social.
- Support the Art Director in interpreting creative briefs into visually compelling designs that reflect Petite Plume's voice and aesthetic.
- Develop layouts, typography, and visual compositions that are both brand-appropriate and conversion-focused.
- Assist with print and collateral needs such as catalog layouts, postcards, and packaging extensions.
Creative Research & Concept Development
- Contribute to campaign ideation through visual research and deck preparation.
- Translate creative direction into presentation-ready materials that articulate tone, color, composition, and photography direction.
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of digital design trends, photography, and luxury brand storytelling.
Photoshoot & Production Support
- Partner with the Art Director and Creative Director on pre-production needs: research, prop inspiration, and reference gathering.
- Assist in executing shoot decks and visual frameworks.
- Provide on-set design or logistical support as needed.
Collaboration & Workflow Management
- Work cross-functionally with the Marketing, E-Commerce, and Copy teams to ensure cohesive execution of creative deliverables.
- Manage file organization and maintain quality control across all exported assets.
- Adapt assets efficiently for multiple formats while maintaining design integrity.
Qualities for Success
- 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in-house for a brand or within a creative agency environment. DTC brand experience is a major plus.
- Highly proactive and solution-oriented—anticipates needs and follows through with minimal supervision.
- Deep attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a refined understanding of luxury visual language.
- Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Figma experience a plus).
- Comfort working within established brand guidelines while proposing fresh design solutions.
- Familiarity with production timelines and creative workflows for both digital and print assets.
