As a Fresh Retail Sales Manager, you’ll shape retail strategy, mentor a high-performing team, and deepen relationships with some of our most strategic partners.

The Impact You’ll Make

You'll lead the charge on fresh pork sales across our retail channel, managing relationships with 2–3 key targeted growth customers while driving execution of the retail sales strategy, service and growth across your team. You’ll be a strategic voice, a cross-functional connector, and a champion of growth and excellence, translating strategy into action, and action into measurable wins.  You will be responsible for overseeing an existing book of business as well as new prospective customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct strategy and relationship management for key retail accounts
  • Coach and develop the retail team of 3 to achieve volume and margin goals
  • Drive the team to execute on proactive sales opportunities
  • Oversee and guide the sales planning process including developing strategy and objectives for key customers with the team
  • Own retail forecasting accuracy and manage CRM pipeline expectations
  • Deliver clear, impactful business reviews and insights to internal and external partners
  • Champion the success of new product launches and custom retail programs
  • Coach your team on Clemens' Customer Solutions sales tools and frameworks

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience leading inside sales or account management teams, Retail customer management experience a plus
  • Strong people leader who has a track record of developing sales talent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools and pipeline processes
  • Excellent multi-tasking, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Analytical and data-driven with a bias toward execution
  • Able to travel occasionally and lead from both the office and the field
