Job Description
Full-Time Infant Nanny – Bronzeville, ChicagoLocation: Bronzeville, ChicagoStart Date: March 16, 2026Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PMGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekCompensation: $25/hourBenefits: PTO offeredChild: One infant (4 months old at start)Pets: One friendly dog (no care required)A warm and thoughtful Bronzeville family is seeking an experienced, loving, and detail-oriented full-time nanny to care for their infant. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced nanny who truly enjoys infant care, values structure and communication, and takes pride in their role.The Ideal CandidatePrimary Responsibilities
- Has 10+ years of professional childcare experience, including infant care(nanny, nanny/teacher, or nanny/nurse background welcome)
- Is loving, calm, punctual, dependable, and highly communicative
- A critical thinker who can anticipate needs and support developmental milestones
- Comfortable working in a household with WFH parents
- CPR certified
- Tech-savvy or open to learning and using apps to track feedings, diapers, sleep, and daily activities
- Comfortable driving their own vehicle with a safe, clean driving record(ample parking available)
- Fluent in Twi or Spanish is a bonus, but not required
- Open to occasional evening or weekend hours, as well as domestic travel (optional, not required)
Health & Safety Requirements
- Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant
- Support and implement sleep training and daily routines
- Track feedings, diaper changes, sleep, and milestones using a designated app
- Bottle preparation and cleaning
- Diaper changes and general infant hygiene
- Support age-appropriate food transitions when developmentally appropriate
- Child’s laundry and organization
- Tidy and maintain child-related spaces
- Tidy the kitchen after meals and bottle prep
- Provide daily communication with parents, including updates, photos, and videos
- Transport child to activities and outings once age-appropriate
- Support potty training when developmentally appropriate
