Full-Time Assistant General Manager - Cappella Music Academy, Tacoma, Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, WA

Cappella Music Academy is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an excellent experience for our students and families. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and passionate about music education.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday: 10:30AM-7:00PM, Saturday: 9:00AM-2:00PM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the admin team; assist with hiring, training, and performance feedback and cover admin shifts when necessary
• Build strong relationships with families and teachers; handle elevated client interactions.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll approvals, unpaid accounts, and retail operations.
• Support marketing, enrollment growth, and student retention initiatives.
• Coordinate major school events, including student recitals and community programs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in operations, administration, or customer service (arts/education a plus).
• Passion for music and community engagement.
