Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ERP Service Transition & Change Manager to direct and oversee the onboarding and transition of Fusion ERP Services into Application Management Support (AMS). This role plays a key part in stakeholder engagement, change management, process improvement, and ongoing ERP service excellence.
Essential Functions
Service Transition & Change Management
- Direct and manage the successful transition of Fusion ERP Services into AMS Support, ensuring smooth onboarding and comprehensive stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and own the ERP change management process, including planning, coordination, and communication of all system updates, patches, and enhancements, in alignment with governance policies and risk management standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee Oracle Fusion quarterly updates to ensure business continuity and compliance.
- Act as a primary escalation and resolution point for complex operational issues, collaborating with both technology and business teams.
Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Standardize, document, and continually enhance operational processes to maximize efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure and optimize the quality of service management processes following industry best practices.
- Drive process optimization and implement ongoing quality improvement initiatives for ERP support and delivery.
Knowledge Sharing, Training & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Train and mentor Program and Project Managers in standardized methodologies, cultivating best practices, consistency, and effective knowledge sharing across the team.
- Work harmoniously within a large, cross-functional team-including Business Segment IT, global IT, and business stakeholders-to align on business requirements, context, and objectives.
- Serve as a principal liaison to architecture governance forums, Project Steering Groups, and the Design Authority Board (DAB); facilitate Change Authority Board (CAB) meetings.
Reporting Lines & Stakeholder Engagement
- Solid line report to Senior Solution Manager, Fusion ERP.
- Dotted line reporting to [xx - to be specified].
- Key points of contact: Business Segment IT, function management teams, project steering groups, architecture governance bodies (DAB, CAB), and global organizational stakeholders.
Decision Rights & Accountabilities
- Accountable for ERP service transition and change management, service quality, and process improvement initiatives within scope.
- Empowered to make operational and process decisions, working closely with senior leadership and governance bodies.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a solid grasp of service management working practices and technical processes.
- Significant experience leading ERP (preferably Oracle Fusion) service delivery and support in large, complex enterprise/shared services settings.
Preferred
- Demonstrated success with service transitions, change management, process standardization, and quality improvement.
- Proven collaborator and influencer, adept at working across large, cross-functional, and global teams without direct authority.
Environment
- This position is onsite in De Soto, KS.
- In office work hours are usually 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but could require after-hours and weekend work to complete projects on time
- Travel as needed; up to 10%
