About the Role

As a General Constructor – Site Interiors: Drywall at Zekelman Industries, located in Glendale and Avondale, Arizona, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality drywall installation and finishing for modular multifamily housing projects. This role is perfect for someone who is skilled, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing clean, polished surfaces in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
 

Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $23/hour
 

What You’ll Do
• Installs drywall sheets – Measures, cuts, and secures drywall to walls and ceilings to meet project specifications
• Tapes and finishes seams – Applies joint compound and tape to panel seams and sands surfaces for a smooth finish
• Applies texture finishes – Executes texture techniques such as knockdown, orange peel, or smooth finishes as required
• Inspects and repairs drywall surfaces – Identifies flaws and performs corrective work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintains job site safety and cleanliness – Follows safety protocols and keeps work areas clean and organized
 

Who You Are
• 2+ years of experience in drywall installation, taping, floating, and texturing
• Experience in residential and/or commercial construction environments
• Proficient with drywall tools and finishing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
 

Physical Abilities
• Physically capable of lifting materials, bending, standing, and performing tasks for extended periods
