General Education Instructor – San Antonio Campus

🧠 Essential Responsibilities

Instructional Excellence

  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with institutional curriculum

  • Tailor instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and participatory classroom environment

Student Success Management

  • Track and report attendance; notify Student Services of consecutive absences

  • Support academic achievement with targeted interventions to maintain ≥80% success rate

  • Submit final grades and maintain accurate academic records

  • Identify and refer students with averages below 77% for additional support

Program Collaboration

  • Partner with Program Directors to enhance curriculum and instructional quality

  • Contribute to student retention efforts and campus-wide initiatives

 

🏫 Work Environment

  • On-campus instruction at PMI San Antonio

  • Light administrative duties (grading, documentation, communication)

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally

 

🎓 Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a CHEA-accredited institution

  • Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in assigned courses

Preferred

  • Valid teaching credential (Secondary or Adult Education)

  • Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience
