Join us!General LaborerThe General Laborer/Custodial Support role is responsible for a variety of physical tasks, including general shop and yard labor, assisting with material handling, supporting skilled trades personnel, and performing custodial tasks to ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces. This includes sweeping, trash removal and keeping common areas orderly. This is a Union position with Local 441 and the final candidate will be required to join.Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent level of education is required.
Experience:
  • Forklift and overhead hoist operation experience is a plus.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Basic knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • The hourly range for this position has been established at $22 to $25 per hour and is US Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting.  The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, specialty and training.
