Job Description

The Graphic Designer Intern will support the creation and production of visual designs that achieve a variety of campaign objectives, align with ACORD’s design standards, and uphold strong graphic fundamentals with minimal direction and supervision. This role will focus on brand alignment, high-quality execution, and effective communication with cross‑functional team members.
The ideal candidate is eager to solve problems, open to feedback, and able to present a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creative thinking. The intern will primarily create social media images and other foundational digital graphics, while also contributing to broader design initiatives.
The Graphic Designer Intern will collaborate with teams on projects related to executive development programs, creating compelling digital design solutions and adopting a consultative approach to support a sophisticated brand and user experience

Key Responsibilities

    • Design and produce social media graphics and basic digital assets
    • Support branding initiatives by ensuring consistency with ACORD’s visual standards
    • Participate in project teams to deliver creative solutions for executive development programs
    • Manage assigned projects from concept through completion
    • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members
    • Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to improve quality and effectiveness

Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Ability to own and project manage all assigned projects
    • Knowledge of Adobe Create Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat (AfterEffects and Premiere are a plus)
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
    • Outlook and Excel are a plus
    • Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design
    • Knowledge of print design
    • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for website edits is a plus
