Job Description
Job Summary
Greenlight Networks is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support our growing fiber network build efforts, including make-ready and construction change management. This role is critical in helping us fulfill our mission of “Delivering the Best Internet Experience.”
You will coordinate construction activities across internal crews and external contractors, assign and manage work schedules, track progress, and ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and with high quality. Beyond reporting, this position requires problem-solving, proactive planning, and influencing outcomes to keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze construction requests, assess risks and impacts, and create detailed project plans and schedules
Assign tasks in project databases and coordinate work between internal teams and external contractors
Monitor construction progress, track deployment activity, and provide regular status reports to the Construction Coordination Manager
Perform project site visits as needed to verify work quality and progress
Review and approve material requests and contractor assignments
Identify alternative solutions when projects do not go as planned
Support Construction teams with scheduling, resource planning, and overall build implementation
Communicate effectively with internal departments, external stakeholders, and utility partners
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in construction coordination or a related field (telecommunications experience strongly preferred)
Experience managing contractors and construction schedules
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in teams, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skilled at analyzing data to identify drivers and develop action plans
Strong verbal, written, and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new systems quickly
Familiarity with outside plant construction phases and terminology
Experience working with project databases or workflow management systems
