About the Role

Project Lift, a multi-state Retro Fitness franchise group backed by BlackRock, is growing quickly across Texas, Florida, and New York. We’re seeking a Group Exercise Director to oversee our Florida region, which includes all clubs in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

This position leads instructor hiring, class programming, and quality control across multiple clubs. The right candidate can manage remotely, build smart systems, and energize every club’s group exercise experience.

Responsibilities

Recruit, onboard, and develop group fitness instructors across all Florida clubs
Maintain class schedules and regional sub lists
Ensure all instructors maintain valid certifications (Group Fitness, CPR/AED)
Conduct virtual and in-person class audits for quality and consistency
Support Club and Fitness Managers with scheduling, coaching, and engagement
Partner on presale events and local member activations

Qualifications

3+ years of multi-site or regional group exercise leadership preferred
Nationally recognized certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA, etc.)
CPR/AED certified
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proven ability to manage teams remotely
Willingness to travel 30–50% across South Florida

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $65,000.00 per year
