Group Exercise Manager

The Group Exercise Manager creates, manages, and promotes an effective and well-balanced Group Exercise program in assigned clubs.

Major Responsibilities:

Create a well-balanced and effective group exercise program incorporating current trends in the industry and field.Recruit, addition, hire, and manage all Group Fitness Instructors.Implement club wide awareness of Group Exercise programsRecruit individuals that have instructor potential.Assist in training new instructors.Support and enforce all Gold's Gym rules and regulations.Required Experience, Education and CertificationsMinimum of 1 year of supervisory experienceMinimum of six months of proven success at the Group Exercise Instructor level within Gold's Gym or related industryHigh school diploma or GEDGroup fitness certification by ACE, AFFAA, ACSMInstructors having specialized skill such as Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, etc., must provide verifiable proof of education.Current CPR certification is required

Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment
Physical demands include but are not limited to the ability to lift light weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning and kicking.

Compensation: $15.00 - $32.00 per hour
