Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Group Project Manager - IT Infrastructure Operations with strong interpersonal and technical skills to operate a large-scale IT infrastructure deployed globally.

Required Skills:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Tempe, AZ, Richardson, TX; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Or Indianapolis, IN. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.

  • Manage support teams responsible for End-to-End Infrastructure Cloud Operations.
  • Directs 24X7X365 delivery of support services, ensuring and advocating for the stability and performance of client-facing and/or revenue generating applications.
  • Directly manages staff responsible for the Infrastructure Cloud Operations (Azure, Compute, Database, EUC, Middleware, Storage n Backup, BAS, Process, etc).
  • Responsible for staff/employee administration (staffing recommendations, performance appraisals, coaching and counselling, work assignments, training, resource planning, etc.).
  • Good experience in managing ~100 members team with majority of the team operating from India and US.
  • Assists in defining internal service level agreements and operating level agreements between support teams.
  • Leads internal meetings to address service level issues and planning.
  • Directs major IT incident events acting as Second in Command to Program Director.
  • Manages vendor relations for the department; assists with vendor identification and selection, contract negotiation and statement of work (SOW) reviews.
  • Manages licensing and service agreements with vendors; ensures hardware and software is appropriately licensed.
  • Evaluates and recommends technology solutions; participates in decisions regarding purchase and selection, in-house development and modification, assessment and implementation.
  • Works closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Developed and maintained strong relationships with C-level executives, including CIO, and CTO, to understand business needs and align IT strategy.
  • Determines overall objectives for organization and contributes to formulation of operational, tactical and strategic plans related to the functions he/she is responsible for.
  • Adheres to policy, process and procedures and proactively seek opportunities to enhance existing ITS ITIL processes (service requests, incident & problem management, change management, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Significant experience leading teams responsible for providing IT customer support/services.
  • Computer operations, IT Infrastructure production support and data center management/administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of cutting-edge technologies, Containerization, AI, ML
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced ITIL certifications desired.
  • PMP certification desired.
  • Application Management Support.
  • Ability to facilitate/manage meetings with multiple participants representing different functions/disciplines.
  • Sound judgment in decision making.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience designing and implementing ITIL practices.
  • Healthcare enterprise products knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
