Do you love the energy, curiosity, and rapid development of two-year-olds? Strong Start Early Care & Education in Shelton is hiring a Toddler Teacher to join our supportive, professional team in a NAEYC-accredited early childhood program.

What You'll Do
As a Toddler Teacher, you will:
Create a nurturing, structured classroom where two-year-olds thrive
Support curriculum planning aligned with Connecticut Early Learning Standards
Foster social-emotional growth, language development, and early independence
Communicate regularly with families through daily updates, conferences, and progress sharing
Maintain licensing, NAEYC, and center policy standards
Collaborate closely with teaching partners and leadership
Participate in ongoing professional learning and growth
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers (ages 2–3 preferred)
A calm, reliable presence and strong classroom management skills
A passion for early childhood education and child development
Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality care
