Daikin Applied is seeking a versatile and adaptable Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team. The intern will play a key role in supporting various initiatives related to safety and compliance, involving collaboration with internal stakeholders and the implementation of specific systems.

This position will be 5 days a week in office. 

What you will do:

• Assist in efforts related to our safety initiatives, aligning with the team's overarching goals.
• Provide support for the deployment of several systems.
• Engage in safety assessments and contribute to data entry tasks.
• Foster collaboration with diverse Daikin businesses, ensuring a harmonious transition and alignment with safety objectives.
• Participate in the reevaluation of data to maintain its quality and accuracy during ongoing safety processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in BS in Health, Safety, Engineering, or a similar degree program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer
• Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Live within 300 miles of our facility

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $25/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
