Job Description

Responsibilities:
Develops and coordinate the implementation of occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Develops and champions cost-effective methods to achieve safety and environmental program goals.
Establishes and publishes meaningful measures and indices of safety and environmental performance within the organization.
Is responsible for and monitors the submission of all required reports and notifications to appropriate regulatory agencies.
Leads and motivates the activities of plant safety committees.
Identifies unsafe work practices and conditions and prioritizes corrective action for lead center management.
Implements regulatory requirements in the areas of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, sustainability, chemical safety and machine safety in the company in coordination with the department heads
Planning and conducting internal and external audits and training sessions
Supporting the organization in the implementation of requirements and collaboration or management.
Carrying out internal projects to improve safety standards
Cooperation with authorities and external service providers Coordinates with the FM HSE organization to align local practices with global standards and leverage shared resources and expertise
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Safety, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
At least 5 -7 years of experience in Health and Safety roles in a manufacturing facility.
Good knowledge of legal regulations and standards in the areas of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, sustainability, and chemicals legislation
Proven experience in developing and delivering impactful training courses.
Excellent time management skills
Willing to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
