Job Description
Position Summary: Responsible, through training and monitoring, for ensuring providers complete medical record reports in a timely fashion in accordance with regulatory standards. Responsible for supervision of departmental support staff in the absence of the Director and Assistant Director.
Experience
- Required: 1-3 years in health information related field
- Preferred: 1-3 years with voice recognition software
Education: Associates degree in health information or related field required.
License and Credentials: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
Skills
- Required: knowledge base in medical terminology
- Required: knowledge base in regulatory requirements for health information
- Preferred: development and utilization of training materials
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: M - F 8-4:30
The minimum starting rate for this position is $18.52
