Job Description
Build the Foundation for Healthcare Careers – No Teaching License Required!
In this role, you will teach foundational courses that prepare students before they begin their specialized medical training. This is a perfect opportunity for a professional who enjoys mentoring and wants to transition into teaching—we provide comprehensive training on how to teach!
Evening Classes | 15 hours per week
You will be the first step in our students' educational journey, teaching critical success skills in:
Study Skills & Learning Strategies
Anatomy, Physiology & Medical Terminology
Computer Basics & Digital Literacy
Math Fundamentals for Healthcare
CPR and First Aid
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging evening classes that build student confidence and readiness for rigorous healthcare programs.
Evaluate student progress and provide supportive, timely feedback to ensure mastery of foundational concepts.
Act as a mentor, identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with campus resources.
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
Collaborate with campus staff to support student retention and success from day one.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited program in a relevant field OR a minimum of three (3) years of related occupational experience.
Three (3) years of practical work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of core subjects (e.g., Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology) through education or work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience.
