Home Health Occupational Therapist (PRN)

Territory: Imlay City to Port Huron

How You'll Make an Impact

• Evaluate each patient's unique needs, abilities, and goals - and create a personalized plan of care to help them live life to the fullest

• Implement and adjust therapy plans with compassion and clinical excellence

• Communicate closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless, quality care

• Teach patients and families how to thrive at home - through daily activities, adaptive techniques, and personalized exercises

• Support families emotionally and practically, helping them feel confident and cared for every step of the way

• Supervise and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and clinical team members to uphold the highest standards of care

What You'll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Current, unrestricted OT license in the State of Michigan

• At least one (1) year of experience in a clinical care setting (home health experience preferred)

• A dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance

• Willingness to travel within the Imlay City to Port Huron territory (about 50%)

• 12 to 16 total working hours to fulfill the PRN status

• The ability to lift and move 50-100 lbs and manage the physical aspects of patient care

• Most importantly: a compassionate heart and a dedication to empowering others through meaningful therapy
