Job Description
- Work as a team member helping others to contribute to the overall success of Corewell Health. Refer to the job profile of the duties being performed.
- Communicates effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care for our patients/residents, including greeting and assisting in hospital navigation. This position is part of the patient care team and will create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
- Completes special projects as assigned, with specific direction.
- Provides training and ongoing instruction to new and existing Support Services staff.
- Acts as team lead during uplines absence and reports work-related issues to upline.
- Assigns, coordinates, inspects employee work assignments, and completes quality assurance inspections.
- Ensure that services are provided in accordance with state and federal regulations, accreditation and compliance requirements, and organizational policy.
- Navigate between campus locations to support needed operations
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience Customer service and/or other related experience Preferred
- 6 months of relevant experience Included job profile tasks and/or other related experience Required
- 6 months of relevant experience Leadership Experience Preferred
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Patient Transport 90 Days preferred Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Patient Transport 90 Days preferred
- CRT-Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) - AHE Association for the Healthcare Environment Environmental Services 1 Year preferred
- CRT-ServSafe Manager - NRA National Restaurant Association Nutrition Services 90 Days preferred
- CRT-ServSafe Allergen - NRA National Restaurant Association Nutrition Services 90 Days preferred
- CRT-ServSafe Handler - NRA National Restaurant Association Nutrition Services 90 Days preferred
