Our Las Vegas location brings the award-winning Mott 32 experience to The Venetian Resort with a focus on refined service, craft cocktails, and an internationally recognized wine program.
Position Overview
The Host/Hostess is the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This role requires warm, polished hospitality, expert communication, and a genuine passion for guest engagement. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating flow with the leadership team, and support high-profile guest experiences in a fast-paced luxury environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests with a professional, warm presence• Manage reservations through SevenRooms (or current system)• Monitor seating flow and coordinate with leadership, servers, and sommelier team• Maintain the appearance and organization of the host stand and entrance area• Escort guests to tables and introduce service team when appropriate• Support VIP guest recognition and communication• Provide menu, concept, and restaurant information with confidence• Handle guest inquiries, wait times, and accommodations• Communicate clearly with FOH leadership regarding pacing and turn times• Uphold Mott 32 service standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
• Previous host/hostess experience in a fine dining or luxury environment preferred• Professional communication skills and a polished presence• Experience with reservation platforms (SevenRooms, OpenTable, etc.)• Strong multitasking and organizational skills• Ability to stay calm and hospitable under pressure• A guest-first mindset with natural warmth• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays• Interest in learning about Asian cuisine, wine, and luxury service
