Hotel Laundry Attendant

We are currently looking for a laundry attendant to join our Team at the Courtyard by Marriott- Providence Lincoln, 636 George Washington Hwy, Lincoln, RI 02865 (a Buffalo Lodging Associates - owned and operated hotel)

The Courtyard by Marriott -Providence Lincoln is situated minutes from Twin River Casino, Bryant University and Kirkbrae Country Club, and is only 9 miles from everything Downtown Providence has to offer. With 129 beautifully appointed guest rooms, we also have our onsite Bistro Restaurant & Bar which provides healthy breakfast, Starbucks products and evening dining with a full bar. The Courtyard by Marriott is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens and towels for the hotel.

• Tends laundering machines to clean articles, such as sheets, towels and other linen.
• Inspects linen to locate stained or torn items. Records counts for discarded linen.
• Folds, stacks and places towels, sheets and other linen in appropriate storage bins.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 Years Experience in hotel housekeeping
• Hotel Experience a plus
• Customer service skills and team player
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs loading linen into machines
