Housekeeping Supervisor

Morningstar Living currently has a Housekeeping Supervisor opportunity at our Moravian Hall Square community in Nazareth, PA. This position oversees daily housekeeping operations across our campus ensuring our community is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. What will I do as a Housekeeping Supervisor?

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations for Residential Living, Personal Care, and Health Care areas.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor quality of housekeeping services and ensure compliance with Department of Health and Department of Public Welfare regulations.
• Maintain inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies, prepare monthly billing, and manage records in our data system.
• Oversee specialized housekeeping tasks such as guest house cleaning, window treatments, and deep-cleaning projects.

What do I need in the role of Housekeeping Supervisor?

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of housekeeping experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to use computers and related software effectively.

What are the physical requirements in the role of Housekeeping Supervisor?

Physically able to walk, stand, bend, crawl, kneel, squat, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and push/pull carts weighing up to 60 pounds for extended periods. Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, cleaning supplies, and confined spaces. Must have visual acuity to maintain assigned areas to department standards.
