Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a role as a Housekeeping Supervisor. This will be a Housekeeping Supervisor role for 2 days and 3 days as a Housekeeper. This unique opportunity allows you to lead and inspire a team while also contributing directly to the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

As Housekeeping Supervisor (2 Days/Week):

  • Lead, train, and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons on assigned floors or areas.
  • Inspect 25 to 80 rooms per day to ensure they meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Assign rooms for cleaning and verify room status and discrepancies.
  • Monitor housekeeping inventory including stock rooms, carts, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations for timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to support performance and development.
  • Assist with scheduling and daily task assignments.

As Housekeeper (3 Days/Week):

  • Clean guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
  • Replace linens, replenish amenities, and ensure overall room readiness.
  • Report maintenance issues and room discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Uphold guest privacy and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Ability to inspect and/or clean up to 80 rooms per day.
  • Physically able to lift and move heavy items such as carts, furniture, and linen bags.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for reporting and inventory tracking.
