The HR Business Systems Project Manager is responsible for navigating the systems teams through the monthly release schedule. Ensuring that projects being worked meet the needs of the organizations and that priorities are balanced. This position requires the ability to leverage the project management application for determining timelines, reporting and balancing resources. This position will play a key role in driving a strategic approach to configuration projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead HR Business Systems project management efforts including supervision of HR Project Management Analyst(s)
Responsible for project plans, release schedules, prioritization and risk identification for all HR related projects including acquisitions
Define and track project objectives while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
Effectively manage project resources, timelines and communication channels on cross functional projects in partnership with HRIS, ensuring all delivery teams are involved when needed
Collaborate with HRIS, Delivery Teams and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs
Manage Workday feature update cycles in conjunction with HRIS, ensuring systems teams are aware and have added appropriate testing, or projects for future implementation
Produce executive reports summarizing project objectives and statuses
Facilitate meetings for cross functional projects
Conduct weekly systems team meeting, ensuring new projects are vetted and all teams are aware of projects with cross functional impacts
Monitor Workday Community for enhancement opportunities, making recommendations to COEs and developing roadmaps for implementation
Responsible for establishing and maintaining project management and testing standards and producing workflows as needed
Lead the reporting of SOX controls to internal audit team, ensuring detailed evidence is documented per HR guidelines
Maintain HR Business Systems Sharepoint site and make recommendations for optimal usage
Lead overall vision for maintenance of HR related intranet pages ensuring job aides and contact information is up to date and user friendly.

MINIMUM Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's in Human Resources preferred
Experience
3+ years' experience with project management
3+ years' experience with Workday or relevant HCM software
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Technical and functional understanding of integrated HR Systems
Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate issues clearly using appropriate technical vocabulary
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
