Overview
Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Newtown Square/King of Prussia, PA. As two of the region’s most respected providers of orthopedic and upper extremity care, we offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and ongoing professional development.
Position SummaryAs an HR Generalist at Premier, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture and supporting our dedicated team. This is a full-time, hybrid, day-shift position.
Key responsibilities:
- Compliance & Policy Management: Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while keeping HR policies current and effective.
- Employee Relations: Providing guidance on performance issues and navigating sensitive employee relations matters.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Recruiting for clinical and non-clinical positions and delivering an exceptional onboarding and offboarding experience.
- Benefits & Leave Administration: Assisting with benefits programs and administering FMLA and Leaves of Absence.
- Performance Management: Supporting leadership with departmental reorganizations and performance initiatives.
- HRIS & Reporting: Maintaining accurate employee data and analyzing HR metrics to identify trends and enhance strategies.
- Training & Engagement: Identifying training needs and conducting engagement surveys to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s degree OR 3–8 years of equivalent HR experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years as an HR Representative handling recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and policy administration.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity.
