Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager at our West Caldwell, NJ location.

Position Overview
The HR Manager is a key site leader responsible for driving all aspects of human resources to support both people and business strategies. This role oversees the development and implementation of policies and practices that attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace.
The HR Manager partners closely with site leadership and corporate HR to deliver strategic guidance, ensure compliance, and champion employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to drive HR strategy, provide guidance on employee relations, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee all site HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, training, compensation, safety, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws, manage reporting requirements, and serve as the site's Affirmative Action Officer.
- Lead benefits administration, payroll processes, and leave/disability programs in partnership with corporate HR and third-party providers.
- Manage and develop the site HR team, aligning with corporate HR on best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices in a manufacturing or high-growth environment, with expertise in employee relations, talent retention, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to lead change, influence others, and partner effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred:
- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Background in Health & Safety administration.

Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

Salary range: $124,500.00 to $140,000.00. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
