This position is a blend of recruitment and outreach to attract a qualified workforce as well as increasing awareness of judicial branch opportunities. We need someone with inherent curiosity, professional skills, and enthusiasm to assist the branch in recruiting for open positions and to promote and educate the public about various positions within the branch. This is a full-time position focusing on recruiting and outreach for the entire Kansas Judicial Branch. We have judicial and non-judicial staff across 31 districts, 105 counties and 110 court houses. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and partners closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and court administrative leaders across the branch.Job Duties:
- Sourcing job candidates by utilizing various methods such as job boards, social media, and networking events to identify potential candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective job posting and recruitment strategies.
- Managing the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
- Managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and hiring workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Develop outreach campaigns to educate the public on judicial branch positions.
- Professionally represent the branch while conducting outreach to schools, community organizations, professional groups, and various online platforms.
- Coordinate job postings, career events, and information sessions.
- Build and maintain a candidate pipeline for current and future roles.
- Must have the ability to travel with some overnight stays.
- Demonstrated ability of innovation in the human resource space thorough knowledge of human resources systems and techniques and their practical application.
- Demonstrated effective leadership in program management and modern office procedures and practices, including computer training and experience.
- Ability to accurately maintain online informational systems such as OneNote or SharePoint.
- Demonstrated success with interpersonal skills needed to develop and maintain effective working relationships with judges, other officials, employees, and outside agencies.
- Demonstrated curiosity in innovative solutions to create and sustain excellent employment experience for judicial branch staff agencies, businesses, and the public.
- Demonstrated effective leadership in human resources programs.
- Ability to analyze program problems and needs and make effective recommendations.
- Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
- Preferred knowledge of the general rules and regulations of the judicial systems.
- Preferred knowledge of the general policies and practices of judicial budget procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and thrive in a harmonious work environment.
