Job Description
Black & McDonald, Kansas City is actively seeking an HSE Advisor to be responsible for support and promotion of a safe, incident free work environment. Reporting to the Regional Safety Manager, responsible to ensure compliance with Corporate and Regional Safety Policies as well as regulatory requirements at operations in Kansas.

Main Duties
- Participation in development of policies and procedures
- Conduct and/or coordinate compliance training for all employees
- Assist in the promotion of Black & McDonald's Internal Responsibility System Promotion of safe work practices and procedures
- Conduct any necessary incident investigations and report to required personnelConduct jobsite audits of safe work practices and procedures
- Responsible for compliance with FMCSA
- Assist in management of Worker's Compensation claims
Employment Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental or related field
- 1-3 years Safety and Health experience preferred
- Must have working knowledge of OSHA regulations and FMCSA
- An understanding of standards in Civil Construction and Electrical Transmission and Distribution is a plus Strong interpersonal skills, displaying superior verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Skilled in problem solving and innovation
- Must have an aptitude for learning
