What you will do
Under general direction, you will lead Branch HVAC Installation operations—spanning Controls, Equipment, and Mechanical delivery teams—to ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality execution across the portfolio.
- Own branch installation delivery: assign projects, align the right engineering/commissioning/mechanical resources, and oversee performance to plan

- Ensure compliance and ethics: uphold all state/local/federal requirements and operate with the highest standards of integrity and safety
- Build strong relationships: develop and maintain contractor, customer, consultant, and subcontractor partnerships in the local market
- Elevate team capability: recruit, develop, and manage performance; set clear goals; advance succession planning and career growth
- Champion standards: ensure estimating and engineering best practices are utilized; follow up on customer satisfaction issues to resolution
- Partner with leadership: assist the Senior Installation Manager in annual strategic and financial operating plans for the branch
How you will do it
You will set a high‑accountability cadence and create a culture that delivers safety, quality, cash flow, and customer satisfaction:
- Manage execution to branch goals with a rigorous operating rhythm and KPI visibility
- Lead asset management and cost control across projects, payables, and productivity improvements
- Embed Zero Harm safety culture and ensure teams and subcontractors adhere to JCI safety standards in the field and shop
- Coach and develop leaders (Project/System Team Leads, Engineers) to scale performance and consistency across trades
What we offer
- Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) available Day 1
- Paid time off, holidays, and sick time
- Extensive product and on‑the‑job/cross‑training opportunities
- Encouraging, collaborative team environment with access to enterprise learning resources
- Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy
- Tools, technology, and support to help you build your best future
What we look for (Required)
- Significant experience leading installation/project delivery in HVAC, mechanical, or building controls, including multi‑trade crews and subcontractors
- Proven financial acumen managing forecasts, billings/collections, cost control, and margin outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, safety practices, and commissioning/turnover processes
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and performance‑manage technical teams
- Excellent customer‑facing communication and relationship‑building skills
Preferred
- Background with estimating/engineering standards and major project delivery
- Industry certifications (e.g., OSHA safety training, NICET, PMP or similar)
