Description
ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Foreman to join our team. Who will lead the installation, welding, and maintenance of HVAC piping systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. This position involves supervising a team, ensuring quality control, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and regulations. The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, coordinating work, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a Working Foreman position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team in welding and installing HVAC piping systems.
- Interpret blueprints and ensure accurate execution of plans.
- Ensure all welding and pipefitting tasks meet safety and quality standards.
- GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
- Coordinate with other trades and resolve on-site issues.
- Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied.
- Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance.
- Monitor and enforce job site safety and adherence to building codes.
- Track project progress and provide status updates to management.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, including welding diagrams and symbols as well as written and verbal instructions from engineering and management.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems on commercial and industrial sites.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certification) is preferred.
- 5+ years of Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick pipe welding methods.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
- OSHA 30 or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
