- Assist clients with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
- Safely support client mobility, including use of wheelchairs and other equipment.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
- Offer medication reminders (no administration).
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, and meal preparation.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
- Accurately observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
- At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, or facility).
- Must complete and pass a caregiver skills check before hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing, without the use of an interpreter.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist with transfers and mobility.
- Must have a smartphone with internet access for clocking in/out, schedules, and care notes.
- Must have reliable transportation to client homes (car preferred but not required).
- Must pass a background check and NC Health Care Personnel Registry clearance (no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation).
- Must have flexible availability, including weekends.
- Caring, patient, and dependable attitude.
- Competitive pay rates (PCA $13.75–$15.00 | CNA $14.50–$16.00) based on experience and client pay source.
- Weekly pay (Friday) + same-day pay option.
- Caregivers consistently working 30+ hours per week may be eligible for a $140 monthly benefit stipend.
