In Home Services Asset Protection Senior Specialist

As the Asset Protection Senior Specialist for In Home Services, you'll be the go-to expert for identifying risks, solving problems, and making sure our field teams feel supported and protected. You'll turn data into insights, collaborate across teams, and help shape how we keep our people, customers, and assets safe. If you love solving puzzles, working with others, and making a real impact-this role is for you.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Support field teams by resolving issues and escalating concerns when needed
• Analyze data to spot trends and close operational gaps
• Represent Asset Protection in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborate with corporate partners to assess risks and recommend improvements
• Monitor and respond to incoming asset protection requests
• Help update SOPs and support new projects and business cases

Basic qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Asset Protection, Retail Operations, or Services
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• High integrity and sound judgment in sensitive situations

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with incident management systems or risk assessment tools
• Familiarity with In Home service operations or technician workflows
• Strategic mindset to help shape team direction
