In-House Employment & Contract Law Attorney
Location: Manatee County, FL (must reside locally)Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Are you an experienced attorney skilled in employment and contract law? Join our growing internal legal team and play a vital role supporting our business and team members from within.
What You’ll Do:
- Guide and represent the company on EEOC compliance, workplace investigations, and employment law issues
- Manage worker’s compensation (WC) litigation
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of business contracts
- Advise leadership on legal risk and policy
- Collaborate on regulatory compliance and internal process improvement
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license, good standing
- Residence in greater Manatee County, FL
- Proven experience in EEOC, employment, and WC litigation
- Contract drafting and negotiation expertise
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Prior in-house or government experience
- Familiarity with Florida employment law and policy
- Effective team and project leadership
