Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled Individual Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in individual tax preparation, a working knowledge of QuickBooks, and a commitment to client service and confidentiality. This is a full-time, in-person position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax questions and documentation
- Assist with bookkeeping and payroll as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm’s professional standards
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours
- Extended hours during tax season

Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of individual tax preparation experience preferred
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
Benefits
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $20/hr, depending on experience, advancement available
- 40+ hours per week, with overtime pay provided
