Industrial Janitor

NORIT Activated Carbon is seeking a dedicated and reliable Industrial Janitor to join our team in Pryor, OK. As an Industrial Janitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our production facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and offices.
• Dust, disinfect, and sanitize surfaces regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for meetings or special events, including moving furniture and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request additional supplies as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
