Infectious Disease Physician- Job Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized clinical care with a primary focus on infectious diseases.
  • Prescribe and administer innovative medications, therapies, and treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor patient conditions and progress, ensuring optimal care outcomes through continuous reevaluation.
  • Manage and treat a diverse range of health issues, from common ailments to complex illnesses.
  • Develop and update clinical guidelines for infectious diseases, including HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis, PrEP, and nPEP.
  • Collaborate within a team-driven environment to enhance patient care and improve community health outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship.
  • Current Texas medical licensure.
  • Valid and current DEA License.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in infectious disease practice.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred, enhancing accessibility and care in diverse populations.
