Information Security Analyst Intern

We're looking for a motivated and driven Information Security Analyst Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working alongside experienced professionals to protect our organization's digital assets.

Responsibilities:

• You'll start the day with the team, discussing priorities and any new threats on the horizon.
• Dive into security alerts and logs, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities. You'll use your analytical skills to investigate and respond to security incidents as they happen.
• Work with other teams, like IT and software development, to ensure security is embedded throughout our systems and processes.
• Spend time exploring new security technologies, attending webinars, and expanding your knowledge. We are committed to your growth and will provide the resources you need to succeed.
• Use our tools to scan for system vulnerabilities and work with our teams to prioritize and fix them.
• Help develop and implement scripts and tools to automate routine security tasks, freeing up our team to focus on more complex challenges.
• Analyze network traffic and system logs to proactively search for signs of malicious activity that may have gone undetected.
• Help us create and update security policies and procedures, ensuring our internal guides are clear and current.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline preferred
