Installer

Job Description: - InstallerFull-time position, Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with overtime as needed, hourly pay $25.00 – $32.00 based on experience. Paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, medical, dental, and life insurance.Candidate should be experienced in commercial installations and have the ability to complete millwork installations from start to finish with confidence.  This position will work on multiple job sites in accordance with various site rules and regulations and JK Concepts standard operating procedures.  An installer is responsible for providing the highest level of quality while maintaining a professional attitude with respect to other trades work.  All power tools and transportation are provided by JK Concepts.  The installer provides their own hand tools.  Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspection and installation of cabinets, countertops, panel systems and other millwork items per the specified standards.
• Ability to read shop drawings and architectural drawings.
• Ability to reason, understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or verbal instructions.
• Work within time constraints to meet project schedule.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to support a safe work environment.
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the Installation Manager.
• The ability to take accurate measurements and add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Additional duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Competent in operating all woodworking machinery
• Strong knowledge of use, safety and maintenance of power and hand tools
• Willing to cross train in other areas
• Teamwork and problem solving
• Read a tape measure and blueprints
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Focus on safe working practices

Education and Experience:

• Two years commercial millwork installation required

Requirements:

• Communication and ability to work well with others
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Required
• Pass a Criminal Background Check Required
• Keep area clean and organized
• Great attitude, dependable and demonstrate an excellent work ethic
• Use of hand power tools up to 10 pounds
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Lifting more than 100 pounds using two people

Physical demands: lifting, carrying, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and/or crawling. High volume work.This is an E-verify workplace, and we require a background check before employment.
