Job Description

Responsible for capturing incoming leads, performing lead outreach, and executing maintenance on existing members policies. Ability to write and fulfill incoming life insurance policy requests.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:   

  •      Offer operational support to the Insurance Manager including commissions, compliance, and contracting.
  •      Capture incoming Medicare and Life insurance leads that have been generated from marketing, branches, and promotion and assign to specific agents in their               respective fields.
  •      Receive incoming calls from existing members of ICIS, ICCU team members, and prospective members that have reached out to the ICIS team phone number.
  •      Offer live support to prospective members who have questions concerning the online application while they are filling it out.
  •      Offer live support to our insurance agents who may be in a meeting with a member.
  •      Lead and coordinate our internship efforts.
  •      Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma / GED required. 2 years’ experience preferred. Life Insurance license preferred. Excellent communication skills. Work well under pressure with tight deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail. Well versed in MS office.

 

Performance Standard: 

Must maintain a high standard of work ethic and relationships with members and team members. Must comply CMS, Federal and Idaho Department of insurance guidelines and regulations. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to work under pressure and through conflicting situations. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

 

Physical Requirements:

  •      Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  •      Sit for extended periods of time.
  •      Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  •      Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  •      Reach keyboards.
  •      Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
