Integrated Test - Software Tools Intern

This internship is a part of a 10-week full-time summer internship program opportunity. This role will be based at Archer's headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience within the Integration team.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in developing automated test scripts for aircraft systems.
• Debug, test, and improve existing automation and other lab tools.
• Integrate software tools with lab hardware (simulation platforms, data acquisition systems.
• Support automation of data collection, processing, and visualization from lab experiments.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand testing requirements and lab workflows

What You Need:

• Going into the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year in college career
• Currently enrolled in a ComputerEngineering or Electrical Engineering program (or other engineering with significant programming experience)
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar languages
• Familiarity with version control tools
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
• Passion for aviation, testing and automation

Summer 2026 Internship Program Details:

• This internship is a part of a 10-week full-time summer internship program opportunity. Program dates are:
• May 26, 2026 - July 31, 2026
• June 15, 2026 - August 21, 2026
• *We will not be able to accommodate interns outside of these two program dates.
• This role will be based at Archer San Jose, CA
• Relocation and housing will not be provided.
